Part of the Geometric Frontier Series, I wanted to create a piece that plays with scale and grandeur, capturing the immense landscapes of Garden of the Gods in a compact, 3x3" format. By framing the scene with a square within the painting, I wanted to create a playful contrast between the park’s monumental presence and the intimacy of a small canvas.
