This piece was inspired by the film Arrival and my love of quiet, mysterious landscapes. Dark logograph-like circles hover gently in an overcast southwestern sky, echoing the alien language from the movie as an invitation to interpret, to connect, to wonder. As the sun begins to break through the clouds, there's a subtle suggestion of hope—an optimism that even the unknown can bring clarity, not fear. It's a sister piece to my 5x7", Hevel.
