This piece reflects my rediscovery of Utah’s beauty—a landscape I grew up around yet only came to fully appreciate upon returning after 6 years away. Standing at this high viewpoint (literally a viewpoint in Canyonlands National Park called Island in the Sky), there’s a sense of power and timelessness, as if seeing the land through new eyes. This painting is my homage to Moab, a place that holds my memories and a profound reverence for Utah's remarkable natural wonders.
