"Colorado's Guardians of the Wild": This piece acts as a tribute to my grandma who worked for USGS- and other women working in environmental fields as part of women's history month. It highlighting efforts to conserve Colorado's water, biodiversity, and ecology through found objects and biomaterials synonymous with the Rocky Mountain Region. Blue columbine, Indian Paintbrush, Junipers, and moss decorate the mirror centerpiece encouraging us to look in and consider how we see ourselves as protectors of the environment.
